Re: grease fittings location

Got the grease fitting today. Would ya'll recommend any loctite on the threads? Should I be worried that the fitting won't be sealed?

Re: grease fittings location

Thanks ya'll. I was able to find the TSB. Seems like the GM P/N for the grease fitting is no longer available or the ones that I have found with that P/N are $30 and above. Not paying that price for...

Re: grease fittings location

Interesting. The H2 was serviced by the dealership since new up until about 60k miles. I'm not surprised they didn't change it. I haven't had a good dealership experience yet.

Do you remember the...

Re: grease fittings location

Excellent thread. I just got to these this weekend, but I wasn't able to figure out how on earth one can get to the one on the upper idler arm. I guess you have to unbolt it to access it? Will change...

Re: Bouncy Ride after new parts - Help!!

It's the bump stop that is attached to the frame. Brand new, it's yellow but it turns brown/black over time. Looks like this: http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42003

Re: Front grille

IIRC, PSI doesn't mean much when talking about pressure washers. It's the GPM that's really important

Re: So my H2 is in the new Sandra Bullock movie...

Your H2 looks really good. What mods did you do to it other than the wheels?

Wow, just realized the 3 roof rack bars. I'm kinda digging that. Looks like they're blacked out?

Re: KC Backup Lights

I like the way you mounted the switches. Looks close to OEM, but I wish the switches themselves were prettier. Maybe if they looked a little like the Ford Raptor switches it'd be better....

Re: What do you guys think of this bumper?

I've looked high and low for already available bumpers. It seems like there are only a few options. If you could point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

Re: What do you guys think of this bumper?

I honestly don't know, but thank you for pointing that out to me. I definitely overlooked that. I'm not a designer or engineer by any means. This was just a quick mock up of what I wanted it to look...

Looks good man. I'm guessing you can't put the stock skid plate back on because of the rancho one?

Couldn't sleep last night so I tried to do a rough sketch of what I wanted. Let me know what you guys think. I'm no fabricator, but do you think it'll be easy for someone with some good fab skills to...

Re: high octane fuel question

I am not 100% sure, but this is just my opinion/beliefs. The higher the octane is, the better it is. Therefore, as long as you do not put a lower octane than manufacture requirements then you will be...

Re: New here but here is my black H2

Not a fan of the rims or the running boards. I think it'd look nice with some proper 17" wheels with some 35" rubber.
