water pump hose connector

Ok, its a 2003 H2. The hose from the water pump is leaking at the firewall

The other end of the hose goes into a black T connector near the water pump.

Always something to make it more difficult....

thats what i was thinking. Taking the hood off would make it easier to get to stuff, but and its a BIG BUTT.......

I think the effort in removing the hood, not damaging it and then reinstalling...

My mechanic wants to remove the hood to do this. Looks like the hood is 4 bolts, but are we going to have trouble realigning and not damaging it in the process. ...

Front wheel well liners

OK, I need to reinstall my front wheel liners, the big black plastic part. What are the proper fastners to use, part number? Anybody have a diagram.

Replacing Steel Brake lines

Looking for last words of wisdom.

First we are replacing front brake pads and rotors.(after 130,000 miles... first change)

Then the steel lines poped, you'd be surprised how long it takes to...

Some of my Steel lines have rusted through and then you cant stop , it was fun.

I was looking at the preformed Stainless lines at Classic Tube

Comments ? Anybody else used them....

I am going to replace my rubber lines with the stainless ones, I had a flex line burst on me.

My question is, the ridgid brake lines, do they rust, are they made of steel or aluminum? Some of them...

Thats what I was thinking the orginal stuff worked great for 130K


Is AC/Delco Dura Stop the Original brakes?

Need new front brakes. Went to RockAuto, to many choices , what do I do?

2003 H2, Its my daily driver, 12K miles /year. no extreme off road, just occasional dirt road.

The lid on this had some type of latch that holds it down. That piece broke and disappeared.

I am sure I am not the first with this problem.

It looks like you can either buy the whole console,...

Reverse lamp fuse

if i stole the 20amp fuse to use somewhere else, will the missing fuse cause the shifter to not shift out of park?

Look at the heads on your bolts, then go to the dealer and look at the heads on the replacement bolts. If the new bolts have larger...

There was a Technical service bulletin on this. They changed the bolt spec because of this problem. The new bolts have a larger head .

Tire valve stems

is the valve stem special on the H2? Are they heavier duty than a car valve stem?

last time i got tires they said they couldnt give me new valve stems because the H2 has heavier duty valve...
