Re: coil springs

If I remember correctly the only difference in shocks was the airspring stock shock had a little more extension lenght. This was due to the airspring extra extension when you pushed the button to...

Re: Adding a 2" lift

Here is one of the best explanations of what happens when you try and lift the front of a H2 by just cranking the torsion bars up tha I have read: http://www.norcaltruck.com/cognito-2-3.html

BTW, I...

Re: FRT DRIVE SHAFT

Did you actually try and pull the front shaft or just look and think it was a slipjoint similar to the rear shaft? On my '03 the front shaft has a male spline on the T-case end of the prop.shaft that...

Re: Why did I not have front wheels spinning?

You may be getting some wear in the shift detent cams or between the encoder motor and the shaft that turns the cams. That would cause the shift forks not to reach their full range of travel. The...

Re: Why did I not have front wheels spinning?

Sounds like a serious T-case problem. Could be a broken lockup shiftfork not letting the T-case go into lock mode. The shift motor turns the shifter cam and the encoder shows that it shifted, but...

Re: front locker question

They are not included in the locker or the install kit (I believe). They are available from GM Parts by the part no. I gave. 1ea on the end of each axle shaft.

Re: front locker question

Yes that is normal. The ring sits in a recess in the side gear and the spider gear cross shaft holds them in place. Those rings are retainers for the "C" clips. Its not necessary to remove them for a...

Re: Internal tie-downs

I used a sheet of 3/4 plywood cut to fit the back floor. Mount your tiedown rings to the plywood and use some "J" bolts to the rear seat anchors in the floor to secure the plywood.
