HUMTECH, just curious, if I needed a new MAF wouldn't it triggered a code turning on the engine light? Or not necessarily? Thanks, RJ03

Okay thanks HUMTECH. I'll drive it with the MAF unplugged. I better invest in a scan tool to reset light.

Thanks Olfart, the boot has a metal shield around it. I'm planning on replacing the wires altogether, so I guess no worries on damaging them. Belts were recently changed. Thanks for the heads up.

Upgrading Oil Filter

Has anyone replaced their stock oil filter with a larger filter? If so, what filter are you using? I'd like substitute the small oem filter with a larger capacity filter, not sure which to use....

Removing air compressor

Hi, just wondering if anyone has done this and what I should look out for. The plate which the compressor sits on is rusting badly, I want to remove it, grind and sand the rust off, prime and paint...
