On the older version soft-top, you can open the rear window and roll it up. In the newer ones, you can remove the rear window. In short, you can pass AC through to the cargo area in any stock...

Most people who get into lifting their H1's are going with a combination of 2" body lift and 2" suspension lift; if you plan to go no larger than 39.5" you don't necessarily need both; a 2" body lift...
