All four tires cupping on the inside tread

I'm not sure if the title makes sense because I've never seen it before. All four of my factory BFG tires are cupping on the inside of the tire tread, not the outside where you normally see it. The...

I think I'm going to need to modify my signature line. :)

Re: Will Hummers become valuable classics?

This is just too coincidental to not share. The wife and I just pulled up to a space in a parking lot when a very nice black H2 comes driving by. She says, "There's a really beautiful Hummer." I...

Re: Will Hummers become valuable classics?

Like the '57 Chevy I believe H2's will become a classic in 30-40 years. But not the orange ones. Especially the ones with gray seats.

Re: Should I get a winch?

That's the route I took for the same reason. If your usage cannot justify the expense of a Warn, it makes a good alternative. Plus, I can move it to the front or the rear hitch.

Re: Redoing forum layout

In order to justify that many subcategories in a Hummer forum you would need as many Hummers sold as there are S10's in order to generate a sufficient number of posts to justify all the...

Re: rusty bottom...

I agree with the others. It's best to power wash the undercarriage to remove the road salt and dirt followed by a "paint" that converts rust into a primer coating. THEN cover with a coating of your...

Re: Front Hitch Receiver, Surprise!

My post was from 7 months ago.

I did not run into anything to move the front bumper. From the looks of how it's aligned, neither did the previous owner. My final solution was to buy a hitch...

Re: New H2 Owner

Mine didn't have any noises either until ~30K miles. Trust me, yours will given time. No biggie. It's a very easy fix. Easy Ed has a great pictorial on what to do to remove the moulding. The only...

Re: What is your "Dream Exhaust System". (Poll)

My dream exhaust set-up is one that doesn't cost any more than an OEM replacement and gets me 25 miles to the gallon. :)

Other than that, I would weigh the cost vs the potential gas savings. The one...

Re: Is this unreasonable, or am I just being whiny?

I completely understand why you dropped it off with a certain degree of expectation of the job going as expected. All I am saying is my frustration would be directed at the mfr, not the shop. Sounds...

Re: Is this unreasonable, or am I just being whiny?

I am curious just what you guys expect the shop to do when the lift mfr failed to ship the lift? Cuss at the lift mfr on the phone, threaten bodily injury, make the lift and parts...

Re: link to PCM reader???

Not sure how helpful my post was, but you are quite welcome. I have only ordered one ELM327. If I remember correctly, it took about 3 weeks to arrive. Items ordered on eBay from China seem to range...

Re: link to PCM reader???

Here is a thread a started a few months ago about the ELM327 and Torque Pro for Android. I had intended to do a full review but there is quite a bit of info to cover and all of it is already...

Re: anyone have the pioneer app radio 2?

Thanks for the link. It is a very interesting article that delves into the possibilities of an Android based unit. I like seeing technology from different devices starting to be merged into a common...

Re: anyone have the pioneer app radio 2?

This topic got me thinking about a radio that was based on the Android platform. In other words, a dashboard tablet running Android with wifi and bluetooth with a built in radio tuner. This way you...

Re: 2005 HUMMER H2 sut with 63,000 miles.

You can have the Lux option with a partial Adventure package, which is what I have. My best guess on price would be mid $20's for an actual selling price.

Re: The ELM 327 Bluetooth ODBII Reader

At the risk of getting flamed for asking, did you pair it? My pairing code was 1234. If it is paired then it should work provided you also downloaded the Torque software. Maybe you got a bad ELM?

Re: WOW Just bought an '08 with 1,600 Miles!

Congrats on a great find! Wow, only 1,600 miles! You should have bought a lotto ticket with that kind of luck! :D
