Re: Bushing

Go to newgmparts.com and you will be able to find diagrams of all of the front suspension components. Should be able to identify the part if he showed you where it was on the truck.

You can probably find them on eBay from time to time for a decent price.

Re: Dick Cepek Radial F-C II 37?13.50?17 tires

37" O.K., 13.5" very questionable. I run 37 x 12.5 and rub torsion bars on tight turns and definitely when off road running. Dick Cepek is one great guy so just give him a call and he will...

Re: Onstar compartment part number

"that compartment box" is the issue because no one knows what "that" is. I would suggest that you go to www.newgmparts.com and type in search everything "compartment box" and I will bet you will get...

Re: a/c compressor (what brand)

Go to GMPartsOutlet.net and order an OEM compressor. With AC components buying OEM is your best bet for long term service and satisfaction.

Re: Steering Question - Any way to tighten it up?

No. Probably worn out staring gear box and should be replaced. I replaced mine on an '04 with the same symptoms and that fixed the slop in the steering. Now with my '06 I may be lose to the same...

Re: Whats the widest tire that can fit on stock wheel

I would suggest 12.50 width is the most that you can run without issues. I run off road with the 17"KM2 37 x 12.50 and get some rubbing on the sway bar under extreme conditions but on the road with...

Re: Need help finding upgraded tires sizes

almost every manufacturer makes a 37 x 12.5 x 17 tire so you should be able to find it but when you move up to the 37 plan on paying probably 325+ per tire. The BFG is a good tire in the 37.

Re: Replacing f and r shocks

It will just make it a lot more difficult and take twice the time so why not just remove the wheels and save a few knuckles!:jump:

Re: Can I fit 37s on stock suspension with AirRide

I run 37 / 13.50 and only some sway bar rub on tight turns. Should be fine if you don't off road the truck hard.

Definite yes on Timkin & Bosch

Re: OK, somebody talk me out of an H1

Not trying to talk you out of an H1 because you should own one but not for towing. Although the towing capacity may exceed your H2 by 1500 lbs or so they really don't tow well at all. Any incline...

Re: MC2 wheels???

Not really worth a premium and you shouldn't pay more than $400 for them. Certainly not rare!
