Re: Is the 4HI Button Always Lit Up?

My heated seat lights stay on when they are active....do your seats get warm after a minute or so? Maybe check the fuse?

Re: Is the 4HI Button Always Lit Up?

I have owned many cars and none had an indicator to tell you that the lights where on in the dash....only when the high beams are activated, you see something come on.

Re: Gas milage help!!!

Doesn't always work though. I would get the rear O2 sensors programmed out of the ecu for a permanent solution.

Re: Gas milage help!!!

Tires and windresistance will seriously lower your mpg...How much pressure are you running in the tires?

Re: Faint rapping coming from the engine, kinda freaked out

Sounds easy ;) Usually not so easy :crying: Be extra careful when taking the bolts out. Use penetrating spray well before even trying to take them out, otherwise you might brake one of (the stock...

Re: Anybody know what this is?

I would be very cautious about adding water where both the battery terminals go into....maybe you can find something online with the same design before starting to test anything....did you check what...

Re: New H2 owner!

Don't go too high if you still plan on driving it. 6" is plenty with 38's....with a 12" lift, you would be able to go bigger than 40's, but whats the point. With that lift, you couldn't take it...

Re: 37x12.5x17 on stock rims

37's should have been on the H2 from the factory. They would only have needed to mod the frame a little bit to make them work without any rubbing on full lock....the stock size is just a bit too...

Re: Oil changes, I think I am going to start doing it on my own

Unscrew the bolt in the pan....takes 5 Seconds and you will get better results. The oil filter is to the drivers side beside the oil pan. Easy to get to, but you might need an oil filter wrench...

Re: ROUGH RIDE AFTER COIL SPRING INSTALL

Check the clearance on the front upper metal bump stops. If you are touching them with the upper a-arms, then you don't have any downward flex. Also, did you install extended shock brackets up front?...

Re: 4x4? All wheel drive?

It's permanent all wheel drive. You can switch it to 4low, 4low Locked and can also lock the rear diff and there are two traction control settings. But no 2x4.

Re: What is the correct cold tire pressure ?

ALways check your tire pressure when the tires are cold. When driving, they go up a few psi.

Re: Differences between 03-07 and 08-09

99.99% of all people can't tell the difference of an 08+ or an 03-07. The main change was the engine-tranny and the interior. Those you can't upgrade to, unless you want to spend some serious money....

Re: What is the correct cold tire pressure ?

THe tire pressure on the tire itself is always the max pressure you can put into that tire for maximum load. It has nothing to do with the recommended tire pressure of a H2. Always orientate yourself...

Re: Differences between 03-07 and 08-09

Starting 08, the rear spare was standard on the outside on the SUV. ALso the front and rear bumpers were silver. Transmission becamea 6 speed with manual selection option. 3rd row seats now for 2...

Re: Spare tire mount

The factory spare tire mount is heavy duty and is one unit with the tow hooks....so you can imagine how much weight it can carry. The liftgate is sheetmetal and in order for a stock tire to fit, it...

Re: Stock vehicle height question...

Just came upon this post...interesting. Any thoughts on this? I am guessing they used different reference points on the H2 to define the max height. Maybe the 03-05 are measured to the heighest point...

08-09 H2 silver bumper colour

I was thinking of maybe painting my front and rear bumpers silver to match the newer 2008-09 style. Since there are absolutely no newer style H2's around here and it's hard to tell by looking at...

Re: Help: change oil thread

Make sure you have a filter wrench...they are really cheap and sometimes the filters are a pain to get off. Otherwise it is very straight foreward. Just unscrew the oil cap on the engine, then undo...
