I went through the same thing with the dealer. I ended up with Duplicolor "silver met" #BGM0535 (replaces T178)
It came out great and has held up very well.

I'll snap a couple this weekend. They are fully boxed square tube with 45 degree angles on both ends. they mount to all the original locations.

They come through powder coated a semi-gloss black. They fit right up to factory location and are "Hitch steel" very rugged. I added the step treads to them.
