H3 Totaled

My wife, my mother in law, and my dog were all in the H3 when it got hit -- they ended up rolling it. All escaped with only minor bruises. I really liked this truck, but some things were not meant...

Re: V8 + 5-speed manual, anytime soon, if ever?

The following chnages were made on the Aisin AR-5 manual tranny for the move from 3.5 to 3.7. I agree with the above post that this 5-speed is probably at its limit.

Re: The Real Rear Bumper Pictures

Back to the bumper for sec...looks great. I have that hook also attached to my synthetic line and found it takes too much care and feeding. Seems like every time I need to use my winch I spend more...

Re: In the News, Hummer Haters Attack yet again. Knobs...

Wow. I just read the article. I live a few blocks from this guy and the police captain mentioned in the article lives a couple of houses down from me.

I've never heard of or worried about an...

Re: Hummer owner gets angry message

Not going to say he deserves it, but he should really know better. If you want to own a Hummer (or any nice vehicle) in the District, you better have off-street parking lined up first.

Re: New Undercarriage Pro

When you installed the half-spider did you just pull the bottom bolts and install the spider or did you remove all bolts, cover, drain fluid, and then reinstall and refill.

My spider came in, but...

Re: Factory Light Bar Opinion

They are better than nothing, but I wouldn't buy again b/c I agree they are overpriced and the glare is terrible. Wind noise hasn't really been an issue for me.

Very nice Bebe! Can't wait for a performance report. Do you already have the HD torsion bars on? If so, how are they?

Re: Pintle Hooks

1,250lbs empty. I've made many trips to the dump where it tipped the scales at 4,000lbs, though. The H3 tows it just fine, but ideally I should have trailer brakes for the types of loads I pull. ...

Re: Pintle Hooks

Re: H3 Snorkel?

Exactly...for that truck, I'm sure the air intake is on the driver's side and the snorkel is functional. That's not an I-5 under the hood.

Got an email back from a guy at Tough Country - they...

Re: PARAGON AP might be closing

Yeah, that's the real problem with Paragon closing. I like Rausch better do to i) the lack of ATVs and bikes and, ii) the fact that it's easier to arrange for small party runs (i.e., 2-3 trucks). ...
