Re: HUMMER Has a Buyer

I found the following, but it is 2 months old. -- the time that GM announced that the deal failed. I think it is still dead.

Feb. 24, 2010 (China Knowledge) - Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial...

Re: Looking to Become a Hummer owner.

The Adventure package should come with the 285x75R16 tires, which is what you would want for trails and mud. I have the 3.7L I5 engine and it does the trick, but I don't have any demands that would...

Re: Cupping on Front Tires

I have the factory 32's. I still have good tread and with rotation I expect another 10K miles, which will put me at about 40K on these puppies. I was just curious if others had seen the cupping. I...

Cupping on Front Tires

I've noticed some slight cupping on the inside tread of both Front Tires. I'm at 31,000 miles. No evidence on the other two tires. I've had them rotated twice, at about 10K and 20K, which I know is...

Re: My New H3

Man, I like the no chrome and the blackened rims. All you need is a more aggressive tire tread when it's time for new shoes. Oh, and maybe a Gobi roof rack.

Re: New '09 in the driveway

Very nice!!! I like the color and the "no chrome" features. The body color seems to go well with the lower front underbumper (or whatever it's called).

Congrats. :beerchug:

Re: Got Rice.....???? BY By HUMMER

I think this is better than seeing the brand simply eliminated. It prevents any demise for another year or two and keeps H3's on the scene.

Re: Ball Mount for my H3

Thanks 442. I realize it "depends", but just wanted some idea of what it might take. I'll be looking at a 4" drop.

Ball Mount for my H3

I need a ball mount for the trailer hitch in my '08 H3. Does anyone know the amount of drop I would need for a normal Uhaul trailer. I'm guessing a 2" to 3", but not sure.

I realize I can go...

Re: H3 vs 2 door small car - sorry no pics...

Great story. :beerchug:

I had a sport car whip into a parking space beside me and open the door and hit the passenger side of my H3 while I was sitting in it waiting for the wife. I got out and...

Re: Went to check out the H3T...

I looked at one at the dealership for the first time when I had mine in for an oil change and free wash. I liked the looks of it more than I thought I would. I didn't realize it had an extended...

Re: Best tires?

It kinda depends on what you want to do. I am not really into rock crawling. And after a couple of mud trips and the required clean up, I try to stay relatively dry. Heh!

I had a great all...

Re: New H3 Owner

Welcome. Yours looks just like mine, from what I can tell. I like it with the black mirror backs and door handles, instead of chrome. Were the 2009 H3's on the lot? I suppose they made you a...

Re: Lots of noise on start up?

I have noticed the abnormal roar too. But like your dealer said it only lasts a couple of hundred yards. Thing is, it doesn't do it on every start up -- only occasionaly.

Re: GM'S Sale of Hummer Underway, WSJ

I plan on hanging on to my H3 for a good while. I'd be sorry to see the brand go by the wayside.

Like some of the posts above, I heard that they had no major "interested" potential buyers. They...

Re: GOBI Racks Rock!!

PA-H3,
Is that a rubber seal at the base of the wind deflector at the very front edge? Is that custom or part of the Gobi install?

Re: Buying into this whole addiction, need your help

I have a 3.7L '08 Graphite Lux. I found it on the lot with no chrome except for the grill -- a bit rare. I love it with the black door handles and ext. mirror housings -- and may black out the grill...

Re: Nitto Terra Grapplers & and Helo Black Maxx's

That's a great look!

That is the stock tire size for the adventure package. Did you crank the T-bars just to level it out a bit?

Re: black custom grill?

Do you have the 2008 Graphite colormatch grill? My dealer had other colors from 2007 but none with new graphite color.
