Re: anybody have sunroof

I've seen older trucks with a sunroof over each seat (an hmc4 I think). One I saw is on an offroad video of the rubicon ( http://www.sidekickoffroad.com/catindxF.htm ). Probably no more difficult...

Re: KenP....Nice H1 in Richmond, VA

You are right about KBB being a bit inflated, I use it only as a reference and would never rely on it alone -- especially it's "retail" prices, which are insane! But they are not too far apart. ...

Re: KenP....Nice H1 in Richmond, VA

it seems the smart thing to do is not to pay for accessories on h1's, but to pay for good maintenance and lack of abuse (when you sell, seldom do accessories add much to the price). Better to pay a...

Re: Neocon1..nice looking H1 out your way.

it's nice not to see ucp and the clean/unscratched rockers -- it means the owner may actually be telling the truth about never being offroaded.

Full ucp will run you about $2k, maybe a bit more...

Re: Neocon1..nice looking H1 out your way.

looks like a clean truck, the rockers look to be pristine. The owner certainly is proud to have the wrong rims/tires on it -- I think there are 4 different pictures of them. The wrong backspacing...

Re: Neocon1..nice looking H1 out your way.

I love it when in the description they describe how the owner drives at 80 mph and can achieve 95 mph -- speeds these trucks really shouldn't be doing.

Re: top gear h1 h2 video

I forgot about the mpg part...I loved it when he stomped on the gas and the computer read 1 mpg. Any mpg computer in any car would read that when the pedal is to the floor (maybe the prius would...

Re: 04 vs 06

The Alpha is much quieter, and maybe a little better gas mileage -- but is there really a difference between 12 to 14 and 15 to 17? Bad is bad. The '06 gained almost 700 lbs with the new...

Re: Freeway Trip

woops -- Lynch is about the only one I'd trust. Wish I got my truck from them!

And about the newer hubs in '04's -- who knows, but interesting to find out. Are the newer hubs 12k halfshafts/trucks...

Re: Freeway Trip

I think all the geared hubs are the same except the Alpha has the helical cut gears to quiet them a bit. As far as frwy cruising, the max sustained rpm for the 6.5 td is 2350 rpm if I remember...

Re: Happy New Year H1 Guys

I just looked up "small phenises" on wikipedia -- it's an undersized tie-rod that snaps on easy terrain.

Re: Question for frequent wheelers

there are some really expensive billet ones here:

I think they are supposed to be rebuildable? A bit out of my price range.

the bit with the white h1 having issues (meaning driver not engaging locker or sucking at btm) always makes me smile as the jeep passes the hummer ON THE BYPASS.

how old is this video? 3...

Re: John Kerry -- JERK

let's see where this post ends up...

you are right GeorgeSSSS, Bush did get better grades than Kerry. Bush's 4 year avg at Yale was a 77, Kerry's was a 76. Funny, that's about the same as...

I'm not a fan of Kerry's either, but it seems most have missed the facts of what he actually said and the context...he was busting Bush's chops for being a mediocre student and getting stuck in our...
