Re: EMERGENCY BREAK PULL BREAKS

ahhhhh yea..... the brake.... on the H3. :o

It would be nice to have a hand brake on the 3 with the manual transmission. At least GM had the forethought to cram all three pedals close enough...

Re: EMERGENCY BREAK PULL BREAKS

My wife broke mine the first time she drove it.

I'm not sure how it attaches, but she put it back on and it hasn't come off again. BTW: its a manual, so it gets used every time its driven.

Re: Removal of shift knob?

Before you go that far, pull the chrome cap off and see if there is a nut or a pin in the center of it. If it's a nut it is self explanitory. If it's a pin, you just have to pull it out..... while...

Re: V8 + 5-speed manual, anytime soon, if ever?

The AR-5 is almost at the limits of it's capabilitys with the 3.7. I don't think it would hold up to a V8. I'm just happy to have a manual, but it would be nice to have a V8 too.

Re: Built in Pistol Locker

I prefer having it on my hip vs the console, but as long as you can get to, that's what counts. ;)

Groundpunder, because the law was so vague, a "presumption of traveling" was codified a couple...

Re: Line X'd front grill - $350?

I got a quote of $150 that I thought was high. I only checked at one place that I happened to drive by. There's enough competition around me I'm sure I could get it lower.

Re: H3 and 15 inch rims

I don't think 15s will fit. There's hardly any space between the front calipers and the inside of the rim with 16s.

Re: Mounted CB Antenna

The mount is screwed in to the support behind the windshield. See the attached pic. I was pleasantly surprised to see such a nice place to mount it. I was expecting to have to use adhesive to...

Re: Trade-In Value?

If you have a CarMax in your area take it there and get it appraised. This is the best way to determine your vehicles value in your area.

Next best is to look it up in the NADA book, this is what...

Re: Built in Pistol Locker

As a smash and grab thief, the lock would make me think that it would be worth the second to stick my screwdriver in there and pop the panel off.

In Texas you can carry a loaded concealed handgun in...

Re: Mounted CB Antenna

I just installed mine last week. The biggest problem with the spare tire mount is the lack of a ground plain. An antenna should be mounted to the larges horizontal surface of a vehicle. Mounting...

Re: Manual or Automatic transmission

I had to skip the adventure pkg in order to get the manual. The dealer searched the entire country and couldn't find one (I did some searching of my own too). We had to bring one in from across the...

Re: Manual or Automatic transmission

Manual

Each have advantages and disadvantages off road. For me, the deciding factor is I prefer a manual fo every day driving.

Re: Painting your Wheels, How to PowerPoint.

Looks very nice. I'm just curious why you removed the clear coat. Did you use the same spray on material for the grill and emblems, and if so, how is it holding up.

I'm planning on doing mine...

Re: I think I just got screwed....

Chance are that even if there is video, it won't be of much use.

Typical parking lot cameras give you one of two things. Some will be zoomed out and give you a wide shot of the parking lot. You...

Re: Die MF, Die MF, Die MF...DIE......

You're right in part in that a lot of people ignore alarms. You'll also notice when an alarm goes off in a parking lot that people tend to look around to see what vehicle it is. Granted, it's more...

Re: Roof Rack / Basket Mounts

Thanks Charlie I was thinking about making something along the lines of the CH100 and after seeing a detailed pic, I don't think it will take much work.

Thanks guy for all the suggestions.

Re: what 's the correct air pressure when doing it on sand, on highway, and on offroad.?

I didn't notice any punctuation or grammar mistakes (spelling is not my forte), but once again you have missed the point of what I was saying.

I didn't say I "owned" anything or anybody. You failed...

Re: what 's the correct air pressure when doing it on sand, on highway, and on offroa

Re: what 's the correct air pressure when doing it on sand, on highway, and on offroad.?

Funny, you don't like to argue. :giggling:

I never said what pressure to run in your H3. I told you how to determine what pressure to run in your H3.

Your the one that got stuck on 2 PSI and 5...
