Do you want bright chrome or would you be interested in black chrome? I've got a connection that is doing top-notch black chrome. So nice that even I like it. Looks like a pool of oil.

BFG T/A KO's have been the best all-around tire for me. I've been through 3 sets(170K miles). If you get them siped at Les Schwab they are unstoppable in snow & ice. I'm going to get another set...

Why? Just snake a hose in the tank and siphon out the gas. Don't make it harder than necessary.

No. I only used my floor jack for the fuel tank. IIRC, I only had about 1/4 tank so it wasn't too bad muscling it around.

You could try that and see if it helps. I didn't have any problems at normal ride height.

You'll need a floor jack and preferably a piece of 2x6 maybe 3' long. If at all possible siphon off as much gas as possible into gas cans before starting this project. Loosen and remove the fuel tank...
