Re: BATTERY DEAD...AGAIN...fml

There was a service bulletin and maybe a recall on the factory battery. I'd ask the dealership. They replaced mine under warranty. The stereo may or may not be related. Also, H3's have rundown...

Re: General Motors Sucks!

I talked to Frank at GM customer service, he was apparently the highest contact regarding the problem(s). I have owned 30 vehicles since I was 15 years old, and this one has been more of a problem...

General Motors Sucks!

I really HATE these guys right now. Apparently at 40,000mi my 07 H3 has the bad head, at 30,000 had a bad tranny. Leaking rear main seal, bad battery, broken ext door handle, bad serpentine belt,...

Re: ARB Front Bumper

That's funny you mention Buddy King. He was the biggest jacka$$ I've ever met. He actually made me walk away from ARB shaking my head. He had this attitude -- even the warehouse guy was more...

Re: ARB Front Bumper

I got quoted $957.00 and $1100 by two shops down the road from ARB here in Renton. I even went to ARB to see if I could look at one and they wouldn't unpackage one:lame: I kinda wanted to see one...

Re: painted maxx 8's ?

oh yeah. black. I would have to match that shiny semi-orangepealed clearcoat though. I just notice a big difference in trucks that don't have the lip that contrasts--they look a little...

Re: ARB new for H3

arbusa.com, but they don't have any H3 products on their site yet...probably because production is stilla couple weeks out. They're Australian based, so they took delivery of H3's down under a bit...

ARB new for H3

I did a quick search but hope this is new news. I talked with Jim Jackson (president ARB-USA) via e-mail. They have been working on an H3 front bumper for some time now and the first production...

Re: Leveling First...Cognitos Later...Any Issues?

That's an interesting thought. I do notice a little more bumpsteer which is a common symptom of lift kits and larger tires. I would think that the tires would be more forgiving and absorbing, but...

Re: solution to hard ride after leveling

I would have to agree with Nicos. I also have the cognitos, and while handling excellent off-road, my ride is really stiff as well on the road. I think the other thread (leveling first...cognitos...

Re: Leveling First...Cognitos Later...Any Issues?

That's good feedback. Did you notice a considerable increase in rigidity when you cranked the t-bars? Also how many turns did you go? i think i was in the 3-3.5 range. Another strange...

Re: New Limited Edition

That is maybe the gayest thing i have ever seen short of two guys kissing. It reminds me of the days in high school when we used to paint our brake calipers and valve covers. Anybody remember the...

Re: Leveling First...Cognitos Later...Any Issues?

I should maybe start a new thread, but I'm in a hurry. Bilstien Cognito Report:
So I got two silver shiny shocks now dressing up the otherwise subdued undercarriage. They look sweet. I haven't...

Re: Leveling First...Cognitos Later...Any Issues?

I usually put in the wrench time myself as well. Unfortunately I can't fit my truck in the garage (the boat's in the way) and Seattle weather has been 35 degrees and raining... So the shocks are...

Re: Leveling First...Cognitos Later...Any Issues?

Thanks for the help. I decided it was free oil change time so the dealer said they'd put htme on for me on the cheap. I put the bolts back on and I'll let them screw with it. I've put in my share...

Re: Leveling First...Cognitos Later...Any Issues?

I just received my cognito bilstiens also. I am trying to get the stock shock out but can't. It seems I am missing some part of the equation. Do you have to compress the shock or remove a cv or...

Re: I wish I could convice myself to buy this bumper

I heard SMA was bought by another company, are those brushguards still available? They have that similar over the hood design, if I remember they were alot less expen$ive too.

Re: I wish I could convice myself to buy this bumper

That's the one I want as well, but I can't justify the $2700.00 price tag.

Re: 35's and nerf bar fitment

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll see how much they vary from brand to brand, my guess is that they are all pretty close to the same thing. Next stop ebay.

35's and nerf bar fitment

Maybe this has been posted before, but I did a search and came up with nada. Looking to put a set of aftermarket nerf bars on my h3 due to my vertically challenged wife. I have 35's with 4.5 inches...
