OK so how much did you pay in cash? And in regard to people keeping things private your Income, and house, and what ever should be private but the price of a car, please its just transportation. Just read the paper and you can have an Idea about any lease price, give me a brake. There is only so low that a dealer will go even if you are his brother inlaw.[/quote]

Many people do not like to discuss that they pay or what their montly lease payments are for two reasons. One, they are private; two, they don't want to be known to have the highest lease payment.

As for what I paid, not sure if it will do you any good, since I got GM employee pricing on the vehicle.

$32895 Base vehicle (MSRP $37,510.00)
595 shipping
700 front brush guard
100 mud flaps
50 rear compartment net
$34340.00
2060 Taxes (have to keep our Governor happy)
25 (or 35 transfer plates and title fees
$36425.

White H3, Luxury Package, Off-Road Suspension Package, Chrome Appearance Package, Power Sunroof, Engine Block Heater, XM Satellite Radio, ETR AM/FM Stereo w/CD MP3, Trailering Equipment (hitch, wiring and plug) - Dealer added Front Brush Guard, Mudflaps and rear net.

And to upset everyone here, I just found out today I can get discounts on all the accessories too. Approx. 20-25 percent off dealer list. So it won't be long before the rocker protectors and assist steps are added.

Good luck on getting an inexpensive lease. I know the rates for loans and leases were pretty high in this area, and that is one reason why I decided to pay cash. You're right on the depreciation, but the lease companies will figure that out in the lease too. For me, I plan on keeping this vehicle up until I retire in 3-4 years, then purchase a new one and head out to my land in Utah and hide.
