(my brother-in-law laughs at me everytime we're building/working on something...can't even get the tool names right...). Yes, it's a diode. It's from radioshack...I know the part number is listed somewhere here on the site, might actually be in this thread... If you can't find it, let me know...actually, let the members know, they'll direct you....

And, yes, you're right. During the day, the DRL's are on only. At night, when the headlights turn on, the drl's stay on. They pretty much run night/day... I don't have the option of turning on the DRL's on without the headlights though, which is what the other connection will accomplish.
