The 35" Claw (12.3" section width) may be okay, but my 35" Xterrains rubbed more than the stock tires, and they have only a slightly larger section width than stock at 12.6".
My 37" SSR's with a section width of 13.0" rub heavily on the sway bar and frame. So the 37" Claw at 13.6" is almost definitely going to rub. You can pick up some cheap ProComp steel rims with less backspacing that will most probably cure the rubbing issue.
It should be noted that section width is not the same as tread width, which is nearly always less than the section width. The section width is most relevant when looking at rubbing issues. Also important is the rim width, bigger tires generally work better on wider rims, and although most 37's will fit on a stock rim okay, they are at the limits and more likely to cause the bead to pop under stress. <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
... and not to mention once they are aired down, anything wider than a 12.50 on a stock rim can wreck the rear air susp. sensor too. I run the BFG MT's in a 37" and love the tire. It did very well in Moab, and it great on the road too. I have not tired the SSR's so I cannot comment on those.
Coach, it all really depends on what type of driving you do and how serious you run your rig in the mud.
