When I first bought my H2 in '03 I got stuck in fresh snow on Fall River Road in February (idiot venture). Chains do nothing for deep snow - the issue is high centering.

Thanks for the reply. So shovel and/or winch for the deep stuff... Chains for traction on packed snow and ice (if needed).
