i personally would not tap a fuse...just run off the battey and get a inline fuse from a place like autozone. Or you can tap into the wire that leads to the low beam. (that is what i would do, but I would also put a switch in the cab)
Also pick up a current testing probe! It will save you tons of guessing and time.
