WOW! I just read this but glad to hear it was found! If you do get an alarm consider getting a commercial alarm or an alarm with a back up battery system not connected to the
vehicle's electrical system. A practiced thief will crawl under your car and cut the car battery's ground cable; this will disable nearly every car alarm ever made.
A while ago I almost purchased a metal box that protecdted the battery. It seems the bastards would drill right through your fender and into the battery draining the power so they could tow it away. Either way a backup battery system may be a good thing. I may have the
VISION GUARD 6000 installed. It will snap a picture of the thief and send it to your key fob remote. You can also snap a picture at will!
It's also a remote starter.
