I have had more than my fair share of problems with my H2 also...but NEVER let your H2 just sit and not be driven. The problems on my H2 only come to surface with use, averaging about once a month or every 2000 miles so far. Great idea to customize the stereo, the original H2 stereo doesn't work right anyway
Just make sure that you don't do ANYTHING that would void the warranty
