I had ordered the Chrome Pkg. when it came with the crossbows, so Lynch installed the crossbows at the dealership and it was still the original price ($850) as when I had ordered it. They can't install Home Link/Lighted Visors at the dealer's though. If they don't have something in stock, ask them to honor it when they do, otherwise some of their labor/installation fees are exorbitant. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
They can't install the homelink visor?
I installed one on my Vette, and it was not even an option.
If they can get the part, it is about a one hour installation. Power to the unit comes from the outside rearview mirror circuit, and there is already a ground in the A-pillar (used it for my radar detector). On the one I purchased the antenna was located in the visor itself.
So, it the dealer can get one from service parts, and they should be available from GM service parts for warranty replacement, they should be able to install.
