As I have mentioned several times I will be getting my Hummer in few weeks now (Long wait is about to be over). However I get smart@sses telling me it is just very expensive Tahoe. I know that is not really completely true, and even if it was it doesn't really bother me a bit. However, I'd like to put end of this descussion by knowing the facts how it really is. So somebody with extensive knowledge explain me (I'm an engineer) how H2 is Tahoe and how it isn't!!! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

First, there is nothing in the drivetrain common to a Tahoe. It is 6.0L, M32 heavy duty 4L65E trans, lockable t/case, and 14 bolt e-locker 9.50" rear end. Not used in the Tahoe at all.

Second, Frame is boxed closed and while the same technique is used to form the frame, and the suspension is similar, it is not anywhere close to being the same. The suspension is heavier duty than even the K3500.

Third, the H2 is built by AMG at an AMG facility. The Tahoe is built by the UAW throughout the U.S. and by southern Canadians in Mexico. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Wow...that wa a good, clean explanation! Well done!
