Here's my thoughts on the tree hugger types:

It's not the Hummer that they really hate, it's just what it symbolizes. They are pissed if you work hard for something they can't have. Jealousy is something many people suffer from, I have seen it first hand with cars, houses, private schools, vacations or anything that requires some level of success or sacrifice.

The jealousy comes with all successes, have a great family, or friends? They are the same people that would try to find a flaw and broadcast it to anyone who would listen.

For most "greenie weenies/tree huggers" a hummer is no more than "the" symbol and an easy target. Most of the conservationists that I've spoken with don't have a clue. It's sad these folks don't use their energy on something truly constructive. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Well...I am a tree hugger (at heart more than in practice), I do not like the H2, but I am not jealous. Don't get me wrong, my opinion on the H2 has nothing to do with its fuel economy. Automotive pollution only accounts for a very small amount of what is released into the atmosphere...which is why I don't worry about driving a truck that gets 15-18mpg (not much better than an H2). I just don't like the way it looks. Personal preference.

The people who say they don't like the H2 because "it is bad for the environment" are dumbasses. They are not tree huggers...they are just stupid, and close minded.

The people who say they don't like the H2 because "it is more than anyone needs" are dumbasses. They are not necessarily jealous...they are just stupid, and close minded.

People like me...we just have different tastes. Also, remember that ELF, and ELF wanna be's are not tree huggers. Please don't lump me in with them.
