JohnD,
I must agree with you totally. After several 6 hour round trips to Chicago and St. Louis, I was absolutely impressed with the road mannors that such an off-road bad-boy vehicle could posess. Due to my enjoyment of the H2, I decided to take it on a cross-country trip this last summer from IL to UT, and checking out some off-the-route Colorado geographical eye-candy on the way. Nothing to report but dependable, plush, and capable. I've got more than 21,k miles on my rig now, and have never had a problem with it. If my ride were lost or stolen, I'd have no hesitation to pick up another white H2. And with my contentment with the '03, I think I'd bypass the '04 if I could find a sweet deal on the '03. I never anticipated that this would be such a capable and pleasant vehicle. It still blows my mind when I hear negative reports of the H2, either in the press or in public. The H2 is like nothing else. Form and function.
