Dont claim to be the Sand Guru, but 80% of my offroading is on sand. Follow NEOCON's advice as for tire PSI it depends on the type of sand and type of tires you have.

20 PSI works well if you are following a beaten track, but if you are doing some dune climbing on very soft sand, I advise to go down to 10 psi, however there's a risk of the tire coming off the wheel.

so I switched from 32' inch goodyear to 33 inch BFG. this picture was back when I had the 32' goodyears, they were pretty awful.

take a tow rope with you and dont burden your H3 in weight too much. the lighter the better.
