bumpstops are supposed to be in contact with the lower a arm, it is part of the suspension dynamics, they touch on the stock height also, i didn't see a difference between the stock and lifted bumpstop heights, if it doesn't have enough downward pressure on the a arm you can get a very "spongy" feeling ride
