I haven't had the "pleasure" to drive in snow, yet (hope I never do really), but how did you get the rear to lock in 4-wheel HI? It is supposed to lock only in 4-Wheel LO.
I do know if you have a complete different engine calibration when switch to 4-wheel LO, so that might prove to be a big advantage in wet, slippery, nasty, no good, rotten snow.
