Basically you plug it into the back of the radio. It was really easy to install and my friend over at best buy said they charge around $30 to do it if you don’t want to get your hands dirty. The sound quality is cd like and it also charges the iPod. I think they might sell one that displays text along with the one I have. Really good company to do business with IMO
