I bought the Aries brushguard. It is a three piece guard and yes the bolts show. If you get the black one you can paint them over and they wouldnt show as much. Its a fairly sturdy bar and I liked the look when I saw it. There are alot of nicer ones now. Do a search for them or check out the Picture boards. heres a pic of mine ,,you can see the bolts.
