History is repeating itself. Remember what happened to the muscle car in the 70s? Gas went up, and you couldn't give muscle cars away. Manufacturers quit making muscle cars because the market dried up.
People started "storing" their muscle cars because they felt it was too expensive to drive them. Those are the cars that are now worth a fortune!
