I am new to the group (as you can tell by the registered date). I am looking into buying a H3 Adventure 5spd with a sunroof. Not sure on the color yet. The wife will pick that out.
I drove a black with 5spd 2 days ago, and I love it. I have had Jeep Wrangler, an Explorer, a Range Rover, and an Exterra, and it seems that the H3 is just more poised. Plus I love essence of it.
Any suggestions on other options to get right away that are back-ordered or not released in the parts department? Also, I keep hearing about GMID. I know it is a supplier discount, but is it hard to get an authorization number? Are there dealers in Chicago that accept GMID? Also, are there dealers in Chicago I should avoid?
