Yeah, get one of those Gtech doohickies and give us some numbers when you get all done, it's going to be interesting.
</div></BLOCKQUOTE>STS dynoed the '03 they R&D and it increased HP 60%. No reason to expect less. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>I am more curious about low end torque and when it comes in. I am thinking of a comparo of your zero-60 with something like Ken's. It'll be interesting to see how it does with the torque.
60% additional HP is pretty damn good and if it does OK with low end torque they should sell plenty to H2 owners. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Well of course without the PMC or injectors installed I just can't report anything. I can say that with the little toying around I've done I noticed this. We're at 2,000 Alt & the most I could get out of my boost gauge at WOT was -.01 Now at about 2200 rpm & maybe 1/3 throttle I see .5 boost. It will be interesting but the guy that owns the '03 prototype is VERY happy with performance. Of course that's all relative. Just as soon as I can get the injectors/PCM installed I'll give you some numbers. On the water issue I've talked with STS at length about this. NORMAL water/mud splashing doesn't seem to be a factor & they recommend cleaning the air filter every 3rd or 4th oil change. It's rated to go 100,000 miles before cleaning. But I agree if you're doing some serious offroading & plan to ford/blast through mud/water install the snorkel. The plate idea is good but not necessary for normal street driving and wouldn't apply to snorkel applications because it would then be a closed system except the top of the snorkel that you could run clear to the roofline.
