NO, NO, NO!
YAKIMA is the only way to go. they don't have the towers out yet, but are working on it.
Here's what you need (or what I'm getting).
1- towers. (4)
2- crossbars. (2)
3- load warrior basket w/ extension or mega worrior basket.
4- shovel / ax mount.
5- off-road light mounts (2-4) depending on how many lights you want to install.
6- bike racks. (2) make sure the cross bars are long enough so that you can mount the bike racks on the sides of the basket instead of on top of the basket, this gives you a lot more room in the basket and makes loading your bikes much easier.
7- ski racks.
This is the same set up I had on my 86 4runner and it was awesome. YAKIMA equipment is built to last and fit's together nicely.
Cost? Roughly about $700-$800 for everything listed. Now that money well spent! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I did the same on my ZR2 Blazer/ Avalanche/ and Tahoe a while back. I think the Mega Load Warrior would look better on the H3, but the bars may stick out too far with your bike mounts on the out side. Not sure. Sportsrack should have them so you can put them up there. BTW- I think you could make the existing YAKIMA set up work with the existing tracks. I have the setup mounted to my bed cover on the SUT and I think it would work. You'd just have to get some stainless washers and your done. Let me know if you want the list I bought.
