Replacing old under-the-kitchen-cabinet accent lights with new ones. Ditto over.
Building a protective cover over a basement window well in front of the house. It's a good distance from the door and it's mostly surrounded by bushes BUT, you never know when some little peep will decide to go exploring in the night and drop to their death.
I wanted to rent/borrow/beg/steal a really mean dog and put it down there for trick or treat and in so doing, make a really freaky asset out of a potential liability. Wife + daughters = veto.
