I have the Pioneer NAV system in my H2 (03) - you can only program the location (trip) while the rig has its brake on (Safety factor) - it states that you should not program during operation of your vehicle. You can change some views and do a few other things while the vehicle is in motion. Most NAV system built into vehicle (not handheld or portable) will implement safety system to prevent you from looking away and programming while in motion.
