Drtyfn, you know my neighborhood well, these are homes I pass daily, some around the corners, those are my roads. The rich will always be rich, but in America the poor can become rich, most of the richest Americans are self-made men and women. You and I and everyone else has the same opportunities.
Spidey, for few years I have been working 2, 3 or 4 hours day only, taking it easy. On 9/11, I said this is war and this is bad and going to be worse, so I went into battle station(business-wise). It went from bad to worse, but we have done well and the hard work 1-2 years ago pay off this year, it takes 9-12 months to see result, takes time to turn the big ship around. Before it went really bad, we cut, cut and cut, push, push and push; we are doing exceptionally well now, but I keep on cut cut cut and push push and push. I have 100 salespeople, they all tell me the business is bad, I expected that. I called my NYC sales manager last week to congratulated him on his record month and tell him about his record bonus and commission coming soon, as expected he went on and on to tell me how bad the business is in New York city and they never recovered from 9/11. That is how it works in my world, when the going get tough, the tough gets going.
