Yes, mounted on the rear bumper. I hate it. Mine is already laying in the shop. I'm having them fix the hole in the bumper where the light wire goes, and giving me regular tow hooks to put back in place of the ones that come with the carrier. I have to get in back too much to have that thing hanging back there, and not to mention, I don't have enough room to swing it open when the trailer is hooked up.
So much for giving us an "optional" spare tire spot.
