As long as were talking about vin #s, I suggest that you cover up the vin window on your dashboard. It's no problem for a thief with the right connections to have your vin run to obtain a key code and drive off with your vehicle, Hummer or otherwise. Just a suggestion. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

The Ability to obtain a Key Code from a VIN # has become harder. It is a Dealer Only option now and only available to a few within the dealership, each request is logged as well. It used to be fairly easy to obtain but that has changed in the last 4-6 months.
