Actually, no...I don't change mine every 3K. I usually hit around 5-7K depending on the vehicle use, color of the oil, time of year. And, I don't pay the rip-off dealer. They want $50 and it is less of a job than any car I have ever owned...(don't even have to jack it up to do so)
I just mentioned 3K for VTSTOMPER's benefit as he is super worried, so best to get it out of there early...before winter.
