The dealer wired and installed $1100 labor plus $300 worth of bearings. Locker was wired to it's own switch under my control. The switch that came with the e-locker was used. Dealer did not wire it to the rear elocker or T-case wiring. I've had one problem with it. It didn't unlock once, the light was off but it was still locked. I just cycled the switch and it came unlocked. I did run around a few days not knowing it was locked. I found out it was locked when mading a sharp turn and the front end hopped.
H2 can still do 100 mph with it unlocked And yes I'd install it again. It will hop in the dirt also, to check if its unlocked. If I f... it up I will replace it.
A front locker cuts down on the number of times you use a winch or a tow strap.
