....music will resume right where it left off!??! This can REALLY **** ME OFF SOMETIMES, too. So, the shop owner wants me to bring it in to try and figure out what went wrong. I called Peripheral Electronics and the guy I spoke with told me that they had come up with new specs to be able to keep XM radio and OnStar with the H3. So, we shall see if my stereo guy can get it working correctly. I wish that Peripheral would just come out with a Hummer H3 specific harness and get the damn glitches worked out...they said since there was not one made for the H3 yet that they would have to use the one for the Chevy Colorado..which they said "is just like the H3 as far as stereo wiring"...well, OBVIOUSLY it is NOT...or I would not be having these little "problems" right now!
Anyway, through all of this, I am still happy I have it...paid 270.00 for the system and installation. Not bad, I think. I am currently trying to find a good dash mount that I do not have to use screws with to hold the iPod so that I can see what I am listening to....thats another downside...also, can't access your personal playlists from the stereo, have to use the iPod directly for that.
Oh well,
still like it....better than a damn FM Modulator!!
