The tape holds on better on the SUV's than the SUT's for some reason. The guards are different by the way. My first truck was an '03 SUV with the taped guards. They never came off once. My '05 SUT, also with the tape, came off several times while I had it. I picked up some new ones with the screws for my latest '05 SUV, but I haven't yet decided whether to use them. I still thinking about the drilling...
