We decided to punish ourselves (and the kid) this weekend. Went to the zoo this morning - kid was impressed with the kangaroos and the water features, but not much else. Heck, he's only 5 months, I wasn't expecting greatness.
But it was free for all AD military, so I can't complain. SA has a really nice zoo, btw. Hadn't been there before.
Also found a good Joisey-style sub place that doesn't put salsa on freakin' everything. FINALLY.
Hummers blew on our car-sighting today.....on the road from 11-4, saw 26 Escalades and 5 Hummers. Ouch. Payback from Saturday I guess (13 Hummers, 2 Escalades).
Now I'm just getting odds and ends taken care of before tomorrow. Hubby has off work Monday, so we're going to spend the day at Lost Maples state park, about 2 hrs away. The trees are finally starting to change color out there. Kid will probably enjoy it.
