Sounds like Gobi cut corners if its peeling allready. I would contact Gobi or your vendor about warrentry, and have the rack replaced or repainted. For the cost of that rack it should NOT be peeling or rusting at all.

Ditto, I bought a gobi ladder and it was dripping rust after the first rain. I called them to see what to do and they sent me another ladder. No questions. Great customer service. Call them, see what they say
