Re: NAV Installed
I personally thought it was very simple but I have done many many installs over the years. The get the factory system out you just need to remove the silver dash panel by sticking your thumbs in the power sockets and pulling out. Once you get the bottom right corner to come out just slowly work you way up. You will need to unplug all the connection except maybe the hazard switch. Once you have the panel out of the way, there are 4 screws that hold the factory unit in place. Remove those, unplug the unit and you are done removing the factory head. I mounted my XM Tuner to the air box directly behind where the head units goes. There is enough room and it give easy access should you need to get to it later. Just follow all the instructions for the wiring harness and OnStar/Chimes adapters and you should be set. If you have never installed a stereo before I would at least ask the shop you are buying from what they would charge to install it. I would hate for you to hook something up wrong on a unit that costs that much and be SOL. Let me know if you have any further questions and I will try to help.
