I would guess and say that the DIC calculates non-reserve fuel, thus the 26 gal. Could it be that Reserve is just what it is Reserve? I dont leave much confidence to filling stations readouts either. The meters should be calibrated but so many pumps and so many stations..... It easy to say well the last time I checked it was good.
