I meant high tide when the ocean gets way up on the beach and you are forced in the ruts.
My family had a beach house there and it is all 4x4- no asphalt. So you had to wheel to get groceries etc. So if you got caught coming home or leaving at high tide the trip would take twice as long. Airing down the moving truck to get our furniture there was pretty weird.
I used to practically live out there when I could. I haven't been down there in a long time. I heard that some jerks have been shooting the wild horses.

And that it has really been built up.

My Mom decided to live there full time and did back in 1999-2002, but then sold it when the houses started cropping up everywhere.
But yeah, the shacks and trailers on stilts way back there- FREAKY.
Still, it is a cool place.
