That's the funniest, most accurate statement I've read in a while.
Get out, be around people you think are reasonable, normal, and comfortable to you.
Try to use some kind of intelligent professional development as a distraction. It doesn't have to be ultimately successful, but something exploratory.
If you have the means, do something fun (you live in Paradise, by the way);
Drive your H2 up the Deer Creek/Radical Hill roads near Montezuma, CO; bring camping gear; sleep in the open air on the fcuking awesome Contenental Divide; watch the shoooting stars at night; build a great campfire; watch the elk during the day; new productive thoughts will seep into your head; think about what you really want out of life that's realistic and good; take out your cell phone (it works up there) call someone important you haven't' talked to in a while;
Read books on any topic that you think might help your future direction.
Bottom line: DO STUFF. Do good stuff. Sitting around kills. It really does.
